1970 Opel GT
Reconstructive surgery doesn't come close to what this car has been through. Being the rustiest GT to ever come through the shop to be restored, the owner has a lot of history with this car. It is originally a Strato Blue car painted black, and the owner wanted to retain the black color. Everything from the lower fenders down was hand made patch panels. The entire undercarriage was then truckbed lined and everything mechanical replaced or rebuilt. The all new interior is installed with a refurbished GM air conditioning unit that was available from the dealers. It was delivered to the owner at the Charlotte Autofair and won Best of Show, before going home.
